The Electricians People Call at Three in the Morning
We started with one van and a simple promise: whoever calls, whatever the hour, someone qualified picks up and turns up. Fifteen years and eighty-three towns later, that is still the whole business model.
- Part P registered and insured
- Same price day, night and weekend
- Local electricians, not a call centre
Built Around the Hour Nobody Else Wants to Work
Most electrical companies are busiest between nine and five. We built ours around the hours when the rest of the trade has gone home and a dead consumer unit stops being an inconvenience and starts being a problem.
That decision shaped everything else. It is why the phone is answered by an electrician rather than a message service, why the vans carry stock instead of a parts list, and why we expanded by hiring people who already lived in the next county rather than sending someone three hours down a motorway. None of it is complicated. It is simply what we would want if the lights went out in our own house at midnight.
- Part P registered and insured
- Electricians work the county they live in
- Stocked vans, most faults fixed first visit
- Certificates issued the same day
Three Things We Will Not Compromise On
Everything else is negotiable. These are not.
The Phone Is Always Answered
Not an answering service and not a script. A qualified electrician picks up at any hour and asks the questions that narrow the fault before anyone sets off.
No voicemail, day or nightThe Price Is Agreed First
You hear a figure on the phone and that is the figure on the invoice. No night rate, no weekend surcharge, no mileage added at the end.
Fixed price, no surprisesThe Work Is Tested and Certified
Every repair is tested in front of you before we leave. If a repair is only buying time, we say so rather than take the money twice.
12 month workmanship warrantyFrom One Van to Nine Regions
No investors and no acquisitions. Just more vans in more places, added when the work was already there.
One Van
A single electrician, a landline answered at three in the morning as readily as three in the afternoon.
Word of Mouth
No advertising for years. Work came from people who had been quoted one price and charged another elsewhere.
County by County
Rather than stretch one depot further, we hired electricians who already lived in the next county.
Nine Regions
Eighty-three towns and cities today, with the same promise as the first van.
Fair Questions to Ask Before You Call
If what you want to know is not here, ask on the phone. It costs nothing to check.
Call 020 3411 2027Are you a national call centre? +
No. The phone is answered by someone who understands the fault, and the electrician who arrives works the county you are in. We grew by adding local people rather than stretching one depot across the map.
Why is the night price the same as the daytime price? +
Because an emergency is not a reason to charge more. A fault at two in the morning takes the same parts and the same skill as one at two in the afternoon.
Are your electricians employed or subcontracted? +
They work for us and work the same patch week after week, which is why they recognise the local building stock before they open the door.
What happens if the repair fails? +
Come back to us. Workmanship is covered for twelve months, and if something we fixed does not hold we return and put it right.
Do you work for landlords and managing agents? +
Yes, across all nine regions. We attend empty properties, deal with tenants and keyholders directly, and send certificates digitally the same day.
Can I see your certificates and insurance? +
Yes, just ask. Registration and public liability documents are available before any work starts.
Power Out Right Now?
One call, a fixed price before we start, and an electrician on the way from the nearest local base.
